Upon seeing him, Centipede even says "It's Captain Skellington" As a nod they used Jacks armature and Heads from The Nightmare Before Christmas as many as 400 heads of Jack where made for Nightmare. Perhaps in testament to his Shakespearean tribute, his head comes off during the movie
