We created this R2D2 for a science project where you had to make art out of garbage... and added a Hidden Mickey! To make this project we used one box of Apple Jacks Cereal for the head. The head was created using polygon cuts glued together (similar to a soccer ball). We used Cheez-it crack box and shaped it to a octogon. In order to stay that shape we used plastic forks (two ion top of each other criss crossed) inside to sturdy it. We used two lasagna boxes for the arms and two oikos yogurts for the shoulders. We used two starbucks cups for the side feet and one dunkin donuts cup for the center foot. We used a few cutouts from the boxes for more details and a few soda caps fro the details in the head.
